After युष्मद्/अस्मद्, the dative-singular ending ङे and the singular endings of the first two cases (प्रथमा and द्वितीया, nominative and accusative) are all replaced by अम्. With the further substitutions of the singular base — त्व/म by 7.2.97 — this gives त्वाम्, माम् in the accusative and, with companion rules, तुभ्यम्, मह्यम् in the dative.
